We have a total of 15 studios at East Place Studios and tend to have a low turnover. However, we usually have a couple of studios become available each year. If there is a studio currently available it will be listed below. Otherwise, please sign up to our newsletter so that we can make you aware as soon as a suitable space becomes available.

  • Shape Rectangular

  • Floor Ground (step free access)

  • Light Plentiful daylight via skylights and clear conservatory-style ceiling. Strip lights.

  • Heat No central heating, electric heaters can be used if needed. C8/9 is in the converted warehouse part of East Place Studios which has a non-insulated roof. The unit has a conservatory-style plastic roof which helps retain some heat. Please note that the temperature in the unit is affected by the temperature outside so it can get quite chilly in cold weather.

  • Power Domestic plug sockets

  • Water No water directly into unit. Butler sink in toilets nearby.

  • Doors Two doors (dimensions coming soon)

  • Access 24/7

  • WiFi Additional charge of £4.50 per person per month

What happens next?

Once you have registered your interest using the form above you will be contacted by our Studio Administrator to arrange a visit.

If you confirm that you would like to apply for the studio we will collate information from the form above (only your name and the ‘your practice’ & ‘community’ sections - i.e. not your contact info) along with a few images that you feel best represent your current work. If there are multiple applicants this information will be circulated to all current East Place artists who make a joint decision on who they feel will be able to make best use of the space at East Place Studios.
